🎨🖌️ Our little art caddy for the kids!

Our youngest is a big fan of all things art, and these are his favorite everyday art supplies that he uses on the regular. Mostly the regular kids’ stuff. I like to buy the twist up crayons and colored pencils (less breaking and no sharpening!) and the click markers (no lost caps!).

But of course, he has taken over some of my supplies, as well! He loves the acrylic paint markers (left corner, back) and the dual tip adult coloring markers (right corner, back). These are definitely his favorite!

My older son loves to practice writing with the gel pens and the flair pens.

My teacher thoughts? Expose them to as many writing instruments as possible from an early age (safely, of course). It helps them explore the pressure needed to use them, differences in medium, hand grip, and its sensory!

If your kids like to pretend grocery shop, I highly recommend this little grocery store! It’s a space saver, easy to put together, and definitely keeps the kiddos entertained!

Friends and Feelings.

This month’s preschool curriculum theme has already introduced us to some great new books like “Rainbow of Friends” and “The Adventures of Beekle.”
.
It made me think: With everything that is going on in our world, books about kindness, friendship, and building self-esteem are so important to expose my children to. If I teach my boys to believe in themselves, be kind to others, and be an inclusive friend, I can help create a better future for them and the society in which they will, and do, live.
