When it comes to skin barrier support, I can use all the help I can get since I use prescription strength retinoids and exfoliants in my skin care routine! So when @lionpose sent me their Pep Talk Bio-Peptide Barrier Cream, it came just in time 🙏🏽 When reading the ingredients, the words “BIO-Placenta” definitely stood out because I’ve never used a skincare product with that ingredient. So far, after using it for a month, I’ve had zero irritation - even around my eyes which is where I normally have issues after using Tretinoin. I definitely recommend if you get irritation from retinoids or exfoliants 🙌🏽

I recently started using Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant and it single handedly gets rid of the texture from clogged pores I get on my forehead. Like every single time. I’ve been using 3-4 times a week so that my skin doesn’t dry out and I’ve seen such a huge improvement! Highly recommend if you’ve got texture!
