My Primary Bedroom Makeover details.

1. Our one of a kind vintage rug is hands down my favorite part of our bedroom (since I can’t link the exact rug - I’ll send you the link to where I sourced it from - they have tons of beautiful vintage rugs!)
2. This Amazon quilt makes my bed look high end AND it looks almost identical to once you can find at PB for 1/5 of the price! The quality is there, too!
3. Some people hate on throw pillows but they have my heart and I love layering them in a bedroom for the coziest feel.
4. I love to read at night and it helps me fall asleep so having a pendant light next to my bed that I can control with a remote is a game changer!
5. This fandelier may have saved our marriage. I wanted a light fixture but my husband wanted a ceiling fan so we settled on this happy medium.
6. These nightstands are the prettiest neutral wood tone, a great size, and under $200. Can’t beat it!

King Size Bed Throw Pillow How-To:

Add some texture and depth to you king size bed with my simple pillow layering technique:
Start with 3 standard euro pillows (26x26), then add 2 throw pillows (20x20), and finish it off with an oversized lumbar pillow (36x14), and if you want to be extra like me you can add a smaller lumbar pillow in front of that (12x24)!

I LOVE my Fandelier! I wanted a pretty light fixture in our bedroom and my husband wanted a fan - so this was the perfect meet in the middle for us. Simple Nightstand Styling

I used the Luke end tables from @nathanjames when I refreshed our bedroom. These simple but stunning tables were exactly what our bedroom needed - they’re the perfect blend of style and affordability.

My husband wanted me to let you know they were A BREEZE to assemble, too!

I styled them simply with a vase of dried florals, a travertine tray, and a coffee table book.

PRIMARY BEDROOM MAKEOVER!

I spent the last week giving our bedroom a little face lift! We bought this house three years ago and neglected our bedroom. It only had a bed, dresser, rug, and nightstands. The walls were blank and it was time for a little change!

I wanted the room to have a calming and peaceful vibe. I also wanted to use things we already had as much as possible so we kept our bed, dresser, and rug the same and incorporated some decor that I already had such as the wall hanging between the doors, the frames, the pendant lights, and some of the bedding.

Here’s what we added:

Day 1 + added a Fandelier
Day 2 + replaced the nightstands and chose light fixtures
Day 3 + added a limewash accent wall using @jhwallpaints
Day 4 + ruined but then fixed the new limewash accent wall 😅
Day 5 + added wall art
Day 6 + added some new bedding on top of our existing bedding for a cozier vibe! (We added a quilt and some throw pillows!)
