Turning one grocery store bouquet into five arrangements 🌿✨

Here’s my exact process:
Unbundle and separate stems by type.
Rinse, prune, and trim every stem at an angle (this is key for longevity).
Roll the roses gently in your hands to help initiate blooming.

Mix water + floral food (sometimes a splash of bleach for whites), then start building multiple vases from one bundle.
From a $35 bouquet? Five styled moments throughout my home.

I’m in my go-to Free People overalls, Nike Dunks, apron on, ladder pulled out — because floral resets are a full event over here.

Interior door glow-up on a Budget 🖤 Under $500

We transformed our basic builder-grade doors using Sherwin Williams Urethane in Tricorn Black and upgraded the knobs with modern Amazon hardware — and the difference is unreal. The contrast, the depth, the monochrome moment… chef’s kiss. This was a DIY and we learned a lot about painting interior doors as well.

$One of my favorite transformations in our home was removing the 96” heavy black barn doors that led into our primary bath. They just weren’t giving the calm, spa feel we wanted — it was giving barn instead. No offense if you love that look, it just didn’t fit the direction of our home. We swapped them for these 96” frosted glass sliding doors and the difference is huge. The soft close, the quality, and the clean look completely elevated the space. This was a DIY install and under $500, which is a fraction of what similar doors cost elsewhere. If you don’t DIY, a local handyman could easily install these.
