Road trips with kids go a lot smoother with a little pre-planning 🚗

These were the most used items for my 3 boys on this 2 day trip — the things they reached for again and again.

One little trick I always do:
I think about what activities I want to bring and I pack them away a week or two ahead of time so they feel “fresh” again when we pull them out on the trip. It works like a little toy rotation and keeps them way more interested.

I’ll also usually grab a couple small new items to add to the mix. Nothing big — just something new and exciting to sprinkle in.

Traveling with littles isn’t always easy, but having a simple system for activities makes a huge difference.
