From tacky 👉 to timeless. 🤩

I’ve never been a fan of the builder-grade pantry door in our kitchen but didn’t want to pay hundreds for a new one in the custom size we needed. The solution? Paintable beadboard wallpaper. 🎉 Here’s how I achieved this classic look in less than a day for under $50 all-in.👇

1. Cut wallpaper to size
2. Apply @loctiteglue spray adhesive to the the glass and the back of the wallpaper, taking care to cover/protect surrounding surfaces. Don’t be like me and end up scrubbing glue off the floor.
3. Hang paper while the door is vertical.
4. Optional: remove door and lay on sawhorses, being careful not to press against the paper as it will crease.
5. Caulk around the edges.
6. Paint and change hardware.

NEED-TO-KNOWS:
✨ Pre-pasted wallpaper doesn’t stick to glass, so I found an adhesive that works for both paper and glass. It’s workable for up to 10 minutes which made hanging the paper super easy.
✨Hang the paper while the door is still vertical BEFORE you take it down to caulk and paint. It’s much harder to apply to a flat surface.
✨Don’t leave the door to dry in a non-temperature controlled environment like a garage. It will bubble up.
✨This wallpaper is paintable and scrubbable!

*My ugly, builder-grade A/C vent cover has bugged me since we moved into our house last year. It’s the first the thing you see when you walk in the front door or from the secondary garage entrance.
*I updated it in less than 30 minutes with a beautiful, louvered wood return cover from Worth Home. ✨
*The pine wood design is paintable 🎨, but comes in a true white that matched my walls, so I didn’t need to! The only painting I had to do was touch-ups around the insert from where the walls used to be dark gray.
*I was shocked at how headache-free this “project” was. I honestly wouldn’t even call it a project because it was so easy to finish.

🔥 Transform your outdoor table into a fire pit with this adorable tabletop unit from Target. It works best with an outdoor dining table that already has an umbrella hole, but you can also install it in your existing wooden table with this quick DIY. Just grab a 1.5” spade bit, drill a hole in the center of the table, then thread the propane pipe through. It’s that easy! You’ll be roasting marshmallows all summer long. 😎

And they’re way more comfy than traditional Adirondack chairs because they don’t lean back as far. And at a quarter of the price. 💰 Tip: I sprayed the chairs with an outdoor clear coat to keep them beautiful in all weather.
