Day 16/30: BUSY MOM FITS

I’m over half way done with this series!

Today’s fit features some things you’ve seen before like my Halara Wide Leg Jeans + L.L. Bean clogs plus this top I got from SHEIN’s Bohemela line that I’ve ordered a few things from and loved.

I’m not typically a fast fashion person, but I do indulge occasionally and this line has been worth it.

One thing about me—I’m always going to love a good paper bag short.

These target paper bag shorts are my go-to for a comfy but put-together look, and I paired them with an Abercrombie tank that’s soft, lightweight, and perfect for the heat. Finished it off with my Birkenstocks because, let’s be real, chasing kids requires good footwear.

Just because it’s hot outside doesn’t mean I’m defaulting to athletic shorts. Being intentional with my outfits makes me feel confident, comfortable, and like me—not just “mom.”

Which is cool, because like I said in my last post, I don’t look cute every day. ESPECIALLY when I’ve been running a 104 degree fever, hacking so much my ribs feel broken, and have pneumonia.

Thankfully I’m feeling much better! So far no fever today and I can finally see my girls tomorrow since I’ll have been on antibiotics for over 24 hours.

For reference I’m 5’10 and wear anything from an 8 to a 14 and the XL was perfect. Even in the gusset (tall girls get it)

Also, since it’s one week of this series I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s been supportive & shared my stuff!

I’ve always loved fashion and had a Teen Vogue subscription from 3rd grade- college. Putting outfits together is a form of creative expression!
