This vintage oak plant stand was a quick 10-minute DIY (just a screwdriver needed!) and looks so good with a big fern spilling over the top. It also happens to match my new dining chairs perfectly 👏🏻
You might’ve also spotted my new desk chair in the living room… blue + white stripes, a tailored skirt, tufted back—it’s basically a dream. And yes, I work from it every day.
Last but not least: the Jacqueline lamp! I tried to DIY this style once, but this Wayfair version is way easier—and leans just modern enough to mix in with my traditional pieces.

We’re loving our new automatic blinds. I love that the windows look uniform from the outside, and inside, they blend seamlessly into the window casing, so it’s like they’re not even there. Connect to Alexa with a hub to schedule them to go up and down, or simply use the remote to raise and lower them. I added them to our dining room as well! More on that later

This summer’s sweetest seafood 🍓🦞

I made a lobster cake for our alfresco dinner and it might be my favorite easy dessert trick yet. Picked up a lemon mini sheet cake from Trader Joe’s, sliced up a carton of fresh strawberries, and shaped them into the cutest little crustacean. (Pro tip: stack two cakes if you want more drama.)

Big strawberries = head and claws
Medium slices = body + tail
Thin strips = antenna + arms

That’s it! The easiest DIY dessert centerpiece for summer entertaining. Let me know if you try it—or tag a friend who needs to see this one! ☀️🍰

This summer, I didn’t just want a deck—I wanted an outdoor room. A space that felt like a true extension of our home.
To start, I added these contemporary planter boxes from @BirchLane, which instantly created a little privacy and greenery. Such a simple trick, but it completely transformed the space.
This woven tray makes it easy to carry everything from kitchen to deck—and I love how my new speckled glassware, bamboo cutlery, and melamine dishes make dining outdoors feel a little more elevated, a little more special.
I layered in a few of Birch Lane’s touch lamps, which give off the prettiest soft glow in the evenings. And of course, a mix of outdoor pillows for that extra bit of charm and comfort.
But the true showstopper? The Jayton sofa in blue and white. The shape, the color, the dramatic back—I can’t get enough.
