From blank plaque to bold Valentine wall décor ❤️

I painted this plaque pink, added red stripes, and gave it a circus-inspired 🎪Valentine twist with classic red and pink.

Then I tried metal foiling to create a gold heart — after seeing it everywhere over Christmas (gift tags, ornaments, all of it), I knew it would be perfect for Valentine’s. I pressed the design into metal with foiling tools and glued it on top for that shine moment.
Finished with red velvet ribbon and a bow, it’s bold, playful, and exactly the kind of seasonal wall décor I love.

This is my go-to Galentine’s craft 💕
It’s easy, fun, and everyone can make one!

I used pink whipped paint on a scalloped wood frame, pressed in heart charms, conversation hearts, and clay sprinkles — and that’s it!
The whipped paint comes pre-colored, is super easy to work with, and hardens quickly to hold everything in place.

Once it dries, just add a photo and you’re ready 💗

STOP using the basic white arch fabric slip covers! Here’s the DIY backdrop hack I always use instead 👇

I took a round goldtone arch set and swapped the fabric slip covers for backdrop banners — a black + white checkered fabric banner and a plastic graffiti panel backdrop. Glue dots on the frame, staples + clips in the back… and yes, messy works. No one ever sees the back anyway.

(And yes, don’t mind me in my post-surgery boot 😅 If I can do this in that, it really is that easy.)
