Okay I tried all the Moxie doops and here’s my thoughts:

Patchwork style: 10/10. I love the look of these the best and I thought they were the best fit.

Middle option: 9/10. Only docking a point because I didn’t love them as much as the first. Softer material. I sized up and like that for this style vs. first style being more TTS.
Third: 5/10. I love the distressed look so I’m sad these didn’t work. Definitely run bigger and not much sizing info online. Material is cozy. Less barrel. Most points taken off for the tie at the waist. Not enough grommets so it’s right on your skin.

BARREL JEANS DUPE!

Okay, full transparency, I came across the Amazon version first bc I had my eye on Free People’s Moxie Pull-on Barrel (I’ll tag for reference). When I saw the Amazon barrels, it was a quick add to cart (AT UNDER $30).

Did a try-on on TT and was quite pleased actually. The details are great, the fit worked. Downfall being the sizes are limited: S M L. I purchased a large and honesty there isn’t much stretch. Feels very Mean Girls but alas, here I am recommending them.

Anyways, after the try on, I just happened to check FP and realized they’re VERY similar to the ones shown! SO BAM.

FREE PEOPLE DUPE ALERT ‼️

With Fall coming soon and *confessions of a summer girly* I am stoked to dress in all the cozy fits.

Found this dupe and just ordered it to see what it’s like! Currently, Amazon has a much larger range of colors but I assume FP will restock sometime soon.

Again, price differential is huge—$35 vs. $128 —but as I ALWAYS find with dupes, quality of material will be the main differential. I will say sometimes I feel like FP stuff can be too heavy though but with boxy fits that extra weight could make or break how it fits. We’ll see!

DUPE ALERT!

For my next try on, we will be looking at the Throw and Go Onesie.

FP’s price point is high but not over the top for them at $98 and Amazon is def a more wallet friendly option at $32.

My guess is I will say the same thing: If you have the money to spare and are looking for longevity, choose the FP. I ALWAYS find myself reaching for the real thing over the dupes but the price points on the dupes always match my wallet better.

We’ll see how they compare!
