How cute is this curly ponytail hairstyle for spring? 😍 Would you believe I got this hair for $12.99 on Amazon?!

I used 1 1/2 bundles of the Organique 30" Water Wave Hair in the color #2.

After putting my hair into a ponytail, I wrapped it with a black wrap strip and glued the tracks onto the wrap strip.

My hair is due for a protein treatment, so I got the fermented rice & rose protein ritual treatment by Cécred at Ulta 🧡✨.

It comes with enough for 4 applications, and this is the only product by Cécred I haven’t tried yet. I also got the ritual shaking vessel to apply it, and a full size of the moisturizing deep conditioner (which I love).

I made it to Ulta to check out the Cécred launch today, and it was cool to see all the full-size products in person! 🧡✨ I got the moisturizing sealing lotion, which is one of the few products I have yet to try from their line.

I also restocked on the restoring hair and edge drops, as I’m still working on recovering from hair loss.

Travel sized versions of all the products will be dropping soon in stores and online, but they do have a few travel size kits available now.

If you want to do bouncy curls for spring, you gotta check out these orange flexirods from Amazon!

They come in a pack of 30, but I only used 20 for this style. I love how these curls came out and, by the end of the day when my curls dropped I had pretty loose curls too.

Here's my beginner friendly routine for doing my sew in maintenance at home 💖✨. I'm proud of how well I blended my leave out LOL.

💖 WASH:

I used some Cécred hair products for my wash day, including their clarifying shampoo and scalp scrub, hydrating shampoo, and hydrating conditioner.

💖 DRY:

After applying my leave in, I dried my braids under my portable hooded blowdryer.

Once my braids were dry, I re-wet my leave out and extensions with water (using a 360 mist spray bottle) and did a blowout using "The Blockade" heat protectant by Amika and a boar bristle round brush.

💖 STYLE:

I then flat ironed my hair using a ceramic flat iron, and Amika's "The Shield" anti-humidity spray.

To add some curls, I used the 1.25" T3 Micro Extended Barrel Curling Iron.

For finishing touches I added edge control, hair dye spray (to camouflage thinning areas), and a lightweight shine spray by Kenra.

For reference, I have 4A/4B natural hair.

One of my goals this year was to do better on my hair journey, which included learning how to maintain my sew-in at home.

I did my sew-in wash day maintenance at home for the first time, and I’m proud of myself results 🙌🏾😂. I used a bunch of Cécred products for my wash day before styling.

Here’s how I flat iron my hair to touch up my sew in at home 💖✨

I always make sure to use heat protectant before using heat in my hair, today I’m using The Blockade by Amika.

I’m using my CHI X Barbie flat iron on 375 to flat iron my hair, and a hot comb on my roots.

For shine I added elixir ultime by Kérastase, and used the Goldwell Lagoom gel for edge control.

When you get your hair done, but you gotta do your makeup too so you can see the vision 😂.

I'm wearing the Huda Beauty Easy Blur foundation in "440G: Cinnamon" and it looks gorg on camera.

Also I've been using the NARS soft matte concealer in Truffle as an undereye corrector before concealer (Hhoodo on TikTok put me on), and I love how flawless my under eyes look!

I got a sew in yesterday, and I’m so excited that my hair is finally done 🙌🏾😍.

Here are some of the sew in maintenance essentials that I got on Amazon to help me prepare for my sew in, dye the hair, and style my hair at home!

I put a clear hair gloss in my hair a few days before my hair appointment, to help add shine to my natural hair 💁🏾‍♀️✨.

I knew I would be getting my hair pressed out to blend with my sew in, so I wanted to help my hair blend better with my extensions by adding shine.

I used this clear semi permanent hair dye by Clairol, which I ordered on Amazon.

It’s a super easy to use! After shampooing my hair, I left the dye in my hair for 25 minutes, and then conditioned my hair.

This is a great tip to add shine to your natural hair before doing a silk press, etc.

I’m getting ready for my sew in hair appointment, and to make sure my bundles don’t shed I seal the hair wefts with fray check.

This is a great hack if you know you are going to cut the wefts of your extensions, and want to prevent shedding. We protect our investments over here 😂💁🏾‍♀️.

I’m getting a sew in this week, and I always wash my bundles first when I get new hair 💆🏾‍♀️🫧.

This time I used the rich moisture shampoo and conditioner by TRESemmé. They left my hair so soft, smooth, and smelling good 🙌🏾😍.

I got travel size versions at target for less than $2 each, since I plan to have my sew in maintenance done at the salon.

The full-size bottles are super affordable too!

I'm getting ready for my sew in appointment this week and decided to add faux highlights.

For my highlights, I want a mix of hair colors 613 (light blonde hair) and 27 (strawberry blonde) 👱🏾‍♀️🍓✨.

I used the watercolor method to dye some of my 613 bundle strawberry blonde, and mixed KISS Tintation "Rose Gold" and Adore "Honey Brown" hair dyes, which I got on Amazon.

In this picture, the hair looks a bit more ginger, but in real life it's a true hair color 27.

I’m prepping for my sew-in hair appointment, and I decided I want to add faux highlights (613/27). Here’s how I dyed my 613 bundle strawberry blonde for my faux highlights! 👱🏾‍♀️🍓✨

On camera the final color looks more gingery, but in real life it looks more like hair color #27.

My sister helped dye the hair using the watercolor method. We used KISS Tintation in “Rose Gold” 🌹and Adore “Honey Brown” 🍯 both of which I got on Amazon.

After dyeing the bundle, I washed the hair using Tresemme Rich Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner (I picked up travel sizes from Target).

I love a good casual but dressy fall outfit 🤎 this shaggy fur cardigan from SHEIN (I sized up to a large, so it fits more like a cardigan and less like a crop top) will look cute with so many fall outfits, I can’t wait to wear this look for a night out!

I love this 32” straight unit by Sensationnel. It’s called “Butta Lace 32” and I’m wearing it in Balayage Mocha 💖✨.

It’s a big head friendly synthetic lace front wig, that’s easy to work with. It is prone to tangling though, due to its length.

I wanted to try something new for the holidays, so I picked up this platinum blonde unit 👱🏾‍♀️. This style is called “Aaliyah” by Outre, and I’m wearing it in the color 613.

This wig is big head friendly, and comes with a middle part that cannot be changed.

I think it’s giving new years eve hair 👀🪩✨.

This Genevieve wig by Outre is the perfect affordable blonde ombre lace front wig. I am wearing it in the color Rom Irish Coffee. 👱🏾‍♀️✨

I got mine for about $34, and it’s available on Amazon for around the same price. It’s also big head friendly! 🙌🏾😍

I used serrated scissors to help me cut the lace off of this wig, which helped make it easier to blend.

This body wave lace front wig by Mayde Beauty is so pretty! It’s an affordable unit available on Amazon for under $50. I’m wearing it in the color Sugar Honey✨.

This unit is big head friendly, but it is prone to tangling. It’s also very long and has a lot of volume. It comes with a right side part. I love this color blend with the blonde highlights on top, that frame the face. The hair in the back and on the bottom is much darker.
