Must haves

By Grace_Reinhardt!

Breastfeeding and pumping must haves!

These are my most preferred bags to use when storing my breastmilk. The are very thick, they don’t break when thawing, and I’ve never had one leak. I also like that they brick up well!! 10/10 would recommend!! #breastfeeding #pumpingmom
Have you used these?!🌟💛🍼 these are one of my favorite lactation supplements! They say to start with three but I start with just one a day and slowly work up to prevent any gas for baby! #boostmilksupply #lactation
Ceres Chill is a game changer for breastfeeding moms!! A sleek, hassle free way to pump and store milk on the go! An amazing product to make motherhood easier #brewstfeedingmom #momlife #breastfeeding
Our go to teething set up! Having a teething baby is TOUGH. Especially hike nursing! These homeopathic remedies have been lifesavers for us. Be sure to talk to your pediatrician before starting any new medication! #teethingbaby #breastfeeding
Happy Wednesday mama!! Let’s talk about boosting milk supply. Here are some quick and effective tips to boost your milk supply:
	1.	Nurse or Pump Frequently – Breastfeed or pump every 2-3 hours, including at night, to stimulate milk production.
	2.	Ensure a Good Latch – A deep, effective latch helps your baby remove more milk, signaling your body to make more.
	3.	Power Pumping – Try power pumping (10 min on, 10 min off for an hour) to mimic cluster feeding and increase supply.
	4.	Stay Hydrated – Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support milk production.
	5.	Eat Nutrient-Dense Foods – Incorporate lactation-friendly foods like oats, flaxseeds, brewer’s yeast, and almonds.
	6.	Manage Stress & Rest When Possible – Stress and exhaustion can negatively impact supply, so prioritize self-care.
	7.	Skin-to-Skin Contact – Holding your baby skin-to-skin can stimulate milk production and help with let-down.
	8.	Avoid Supplementing Too Early – Exclusive breastfeeding (if possible) helps regulate and maintain supply.
	9.	Check for Any Issues – Conditions like tongue/lip ties, thyroid issues, or hormonal imbalances can affect supply.
	10.	Consider Galactagogues – Some moms find supplements like fennel seed, moringa, or goat’s rue helpful, but always consult with a lactation professional first.
I have linked all my favorite lactation supplements and breastfeeding/pumping tools below! Please talk to your doctor before starting any new supplements.
Let’s talk nipples shields! The ONE thing I wished more than anything that I had in my hospital bag! My daughter struggled to latch right after birth and these ended up saving our breastfeeding journey! We used them for four months until we weaned off of them. I’m so thankful these exist and I strongly believe every mom should have them in their hospital bag just in case! #breastfeeding #breastfed #breastmilk #pumpingmom
🌞The Boon Trove Review🌞 The Boon Trove Breastmilk Collector is a game-changer for breastfeeding moms who hate wasting even a drop of milk. It’s soft, comfortable, and stays securely in place in your bra to catch letdown from the opposite breast while you nurse or pump. Unlike the Haakaa, it’s designed to be smaller and more discreet, making it easier to wear without feeling bulky. This little collector sits in your bra so there is no way it will fall off and spill your milk.

With a 4.6-star rating on Amazon, moms love how simple and effective it is. If you’re looking for an easy way to save milk without the hassle, the Boon Trove is definitely worth trying!
If you frequently get clogged ducts this is for you! I didn’t know this existed when I started my breastfeeding journey so now it’s my job to share this with all breastfeeding mamas!! Sunflower lecithin helps prevent clogged ducts by thinning milk and promoting better milk flow. It also adds extra polyunsaturated fats to your milk which increases nutrition in milk! Say goodbye to clogged ducts. LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff! #cloggedducts #boostmilksupply
Have you tried drinking chamomile tea before bed to increase milk supply? If you haven’t tried this yet you need to! This was going viral in a breastfeeding group last year at the start of my breastfeeding journey, so of course I had to try it and it worked so well! It’s a highly effective (and inexpensive) way to increase supply while also staying hydrated! On those days I needed an extra boost I would add in this tincture but the tea also works great on its own! #boostmilksupply
Me 🤝 my hand pump🍼
Make sure you ask for a pumping kit when you give birth and you’ll get one of these for free at the hospital!
#handpump #breastfeeding
Let’s talk about pumping spray!!Lubricating your pump flanges can make the process so much more comfortable, especially if you experience pain while you pump! It enhances the suction efficiency, prevent skin damage, and promotes hydration to help prevent any cracked or dry nipples. My favorite kind is the legendairy milk spray. It’s organic and safe if ingested 🩵🍼🤱🏼 #breastfeeding #pumpingmom #breastmilk
Tips of using the medela hand pump:
1. Make sure you have the proper size flange! Do not use a flange that’s too big
2. Switch the medela valve for a spectra duckbill valve
3. Make sure the yellow piece on the handle still has the tiny white rubber band. It will almost no suction without it.
4. Push on the front of the handle to use the stimulation mode and the. Switch to the back for expression mode once milk starts to flow!
This is an amazing pump but there is definitely a learning curve to using it. Leave any questions below 💛 #medelahandpump #increasemilksupply #breastfeeding
