My 🔟 year old took this picture and in his eyes I can do no wrong. He doesn’t understand life, how things get paid for or people who are unkind. He’s unicorns and rainbows naive. A friend to all ages and a foe to none. This is how he sees his mom…and I am lucky he’s mine. He didn’t care that I recently had no job and no clue what I was going to do. He never judged because I used to be a work from home mommy (even pre-pandemic) and spent way too long at my desk everyday. He’d come sit on my lap and play with the mouse and calculator after school and we’d discuss his day. He’s pure joy and my daily WHY because he wants for nothing and I want to give him everything. Pivoting my career has made me a better mom, a better person and a better guide for my WHY! He watched me close something I love and work hard to pick up the pieces and move forward. He’d ask me what I was going to do next and my answer always was I will figure it out. And I’m true to my word and I did! And he was by my side! While he may not totally understand everything that happened, what he saw was mom working hard to make sure this fam stays afloat! Leading by example is one of the best ways to educate our children! Keep that in mind for every decision you make! #fashionfriday #palmbeach • 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 • these looks and my other favorites 1️⃣ click on the link in my bio page 2️⃣ search for me, halliesays, in the @liketoknow.it app ______ #liketkit • http://liketk.it/3jhO5
