One of my favorite things about my last job was directing photoshoots and I thought I’d never have an opportunity to do it again. There are so many unknowns when you are unemployed and truthfully I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do next!
How was I going to find a role that encompassed all of the parts of my previous job that I loved plus allow me to continue to learn and grow?
It can be done!! I’m doing all of the stuff I love plus learning about new things I really enjoy every single day!
My point is… there IS life after unemployment! You CAN pivot your career and essentially start over and apply your life skills to a completely new industry.
You can get uncomfortable and admit that you are not the expert that you were in your previous job and still add value to a new position every single day!
You can find your dream job more than once in your lifetime whether you start your own business or join someone else’s team!
But you have to be willing to do the work, take the risk, ask the hard questions to yourself and everyone around you!
