My hairstyles on long, thin, wavy hair

I pressed record on my camera before I knew what I was even going to do with my hair. 😅 so here’s my winging it hairstyle.

The spray I used is linked on my LTK, it’s great for detangling, taming frizz, making my hair soft and protecting from heat.

Tips for cute space buns that last:

•Add a little gel to your hair, especially closer to the roots before you brush.
•Brush it into a pony to keep it smooth.
•Use a rubber elastic to put it in a pony before doing the bun so gravity doesn’t loosen your bun! (Wrap it tight)
•Use a hair taming wand (mine is from @mcobeauty_us) or hair spray and bobby pins to secure it.

It feels very vulnerable to admit on the internet that it’s been hard to take care of myself, but as a mom, I am my last priority most of the time.

I saw this one on @pinterest and it’s now one of my favorites. It’s fast but still looks nice. 😍

I don’t know how to explain in words how to do it. It’s like a bun where you pull a ponytail half way through and then flip the bun up through. If that doesn’t make sense, I don’t know how else to explain it. 😂

I knew FOR SURE I wanted my hair all the way up, since the venue is outside and I hate my hair down when it’s hot. 😅

So I just flipped my pony up to make it a little cuter than a regular pony.

Hozier was PERFECT. 😍

I was dealing with wet hair for today’s style, and it turned out great! I love my brush from @gimmebeauty because it’s gentle on wet hair.

This style is literally just triple-knotting your hair. It was intimidating but actually wasn’t too hard to do!

In case you haven’t noticed, I wanted to point out that I haven’t been doing this everyday.

I feel it’s unrealistic for me to record every day. I’ve been doing my hair daily, but don’t always feel like recording it.

That’s to say it’s okay if you don’t feel like showing up everyday. Do what makes you feel happy, not obligated.

I’ve loved documenting my new hairstyles I try so I can watch them back and do my favorites again. 🥰

We celebrated our 7th anniversary this weekend. 💞

Crazy to think how fast the last 7 years have flown by.

I’ve felt super cute with my long hair lately, so a half up was perfect to have my hair down but not too hot since it’s still summer. 😅

Have any of you tried this bun trick yet? It took me so many tries to get it right (thank heavens for editing or this video would be 20 min long).
