Gingham painted wallpaper! 1. Decide what size you want. We did 5 inches. A laser level is crucial for this project to help you know you’re spacing for taping. 2. Tape 5” horizontally 3. White paint helps with bleeding but not necessary(we still had bleeding) 4. Paint in your lightest color 5. Remove that tape while still a touch wet 6. A few days later, tape vertically again in 5” 7. Paint in your lightest color again 8. Leave the tape! 9. Came back a few days later to tape horizontally in 5” 10. Paint in your darker color 11. Remove all tape 12. Voilà! Gingham painted wallpaper 😍 If you have any questions ask away. Loving my current coffee bar area… I have had this IKEA vase for years and it’s the best! I bought my tulips locally but these looked very similar to mine and I’ve heard great things about them.
