It’s a nice opportunity to dress up for many of us but it absolutely doesn’t have to sparkle, shine, or push you out of your comfort zone. I’m back in those navy Uniqlo trousers because so many of you have them. Try a monochrome look with a similar tone knit and then elevate it with a statement shoe and a few great accessories. Simple, chic & effortless.

Throw on a chic wool coat and you’re set for drinks, dinner, Christmas Day even. Probably not a night of raving 😉 but no judgement here.

So many questions coming in about partywear or something a bit more special for a nice meal or drinks.
I think this dress answers those questions and you can wear it throughout the year.
It’s a shape that’s universally flattering , a cleverly cut wrap style where the wrap and length of the body (shoulder to waist ) is flexible .
The fabric feels luxe and drapes well for an acetate.
It’s a dark olive/brown shade and I’m wearing the large here.

Teamed with these amazing suede boot in a tonal shade - I’ve been buying these boots a lot as the shape is great with ankle jeans /wide legs and dresses! They are fantastic quality and a good price . They come in chocolate brown too.

I get asked a lot what to wear for drinks with friends, casual dinners, house parties…

My go-to advice? You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, instead try and upgrade an outfit you already own.

Start with footwear (honestly, it changes everything). A simple switch can transform a casual look and give it a dressier, feminine edge.

Then add jewellery that speaks for you , statement earrings, rings, necklaces… pieces with personality.

These sculptural earrings are minimal, bold, and instantly elevate the whole outfit.
Sometimes that’s all it takes 😉
