Day 2/30 of organizing our new home brings us to a messy linen closet, that’s getting a beautiful organized upgrade! ✨ January always feels like the best time to get organized, so let’s do it together shall we? 🙂
👌🏼There were a couple edits made, for example – I put the Halloween blankets and pillows with the Halloween decor 👻 - but otherwise, everything was able to be condensed in a very aesthetic way. 🤩 My brain is so happy I don’t have to look at all the miss matching pillowcases.

I kind of just wanted Saturday to be Saturday, so day 3 of organizing our new home brings us to a quick, but very effective piece of organizing equipment. 💪🏼 I love that I was able to get a bunch of stuff up off of the floor just using this one hanging system. 🙌🏼

Day 5 is one of my favorite little moments in this house: the coffee bar. 🥰 She needed a good refill + refresh, and the drawers got an upgrade too!

We used to have a bigger clunky coffee machine, but it was time *Rafiki Voice* to get one that makes a big carafe for guests, and take up less space. 🙌🏼 Since we have the space for the pods to be in the drawers, not having them free falling is the greatest. 👌🏼 Same with the tea drawer! 🫖🍵

Tomorrow I will be installing something we loved having at the last house that organized our daily meals. 🤩 and of course the new version is even prettier. ✨

Day 6 brings us to the kitchen & one of our favorite organizing hacks for lower cabinets: pull out drawers! 🤩 They truly make meal prep and clean up a breeze. 😮‍💨 Plus, I don’t have to shuffle around heavy bakeware on the bottom shelves just to find what we need. 🤝🏼

We had a different version of these shelves in our last kitchen, and these blow them out of the water in both looks and price. 🙌🏼 They come in white as well. 👌🏼 I’ll make sure to link the drawers, my favorite liners, and our glass meal prep Tupperware 🫡

Day 7 brings us back to the laundry room for the upper cabinets! 🫡 If your household is anything like mine, then so many miscellaneous things get organized into the laundry room, 🫣 so it always feels like the most daunting place to start. Which is why I love taking it area by area…

I had a whole giant moving box full of laundry items, like stain remover, garment bags, and miscellaneous socks that was hiding in our closet 😅 so I had to pull that out first, before I started unloading all the cabinets. 💪🏼 i’m a big fan of taking it all out, to see what you have, then grouping like items – before making it pretty and putting it all back. ✨

Now that we’ve been here, roughly 3 months, I have a general idea of the things I want on the bottom shelves - a.k.a., the things that would get used on a daily basis. 🤝🏼 And then I work my way up, to things out of reach that we don’t need all the time. 👌🏼

Come back tomorrow for Day 8/30 as we whip this place into shape!
