Kristen’s sitting room

I recommend that she does built in bookcases on her back wall. I also suggest a larger tv and media stand. She wants a moody vibe so I suggested a deep blue paint along with a multi colored rug with rich colored sofa and neutral swivel chairs.

She intends to use this space as a game room and homework area along with a lounge

Jill’s sitting room

She has this existing rug which I love and incorporated it into the design. Her sitting room is open to her dining room and she has a larger floor mirror separating the two spaces. I suggested that she move the mirror to her sitting room and center it and then add an oversized piece of furniture, such as this bookcase

I recommend these storage cabinets because they are affordable, beautiful and offer a ton of hidden storage.

I recommend this oversized piece of art. It’s extremely affordable and come in several sizes and prints.

I recommend her to paint her back wall a muddy green and add vertical shiplap from light switches down.

I suggest lighter accent pieces such as the lamp and vases to get a contrast from the wall color

Lacy’s transition from living room to breakfast nook.

I recommend a cabinet rather than existing mirror.

I recommend wider curtains and a runner along with a sofa console table as she will be rearranging her furniture layout. I added the bench as an alternative to the console table.

I suggest a clear lamp to keep the visual lines open between the rooms
