When you put your crease color in your actual crease and then open your eyes, most of the time, you won’t even be able to see the color you just applied. Taking the crease color a little bit higher (above your actual crease) will actually create the illusion of a crease, and you’ll be able to see the eyeshadow when you open up your eyes!
