Reflections on a new beginning. This past week we had the pleasure of moving our middle daughter across country and helping her and her roommates create a new home together in Colorado! It was so fun to reflect on our own experiences living in Colorado at her exact age! So excited for them and all the memories they will be making to reflect on when they are older!

This gifted mirror from @framemymirror is simply stunning! It is substantial and like no other arched mirror I have seen in any stores. Beautiful quality and gorgeous gold frame! A few people asked about our bed frame, bed & bedding after we recently updated our primary bedroom. We are still loving our @thuma bed & @saatva mattress & @gokotta.us bamboo sheets we bought for ourselves a few years ago! When we updated our room we cleared everything out so we could deep clean the entire room and change out our rug. Luckily our @thuma bed frame is easy to take apart and put back together! Only 2 screws in the entire bed. Love the gorgeous Japanese joinery on the bed and the simple modern design. The @saatva mattress is organic and comfortable and gives us peace of mind and our most comfortable restorative sleep. The @gokotta.us sheets are bamboo, so soft and cooling and my favorite sheets EVER! How about you? What are some of your must haves in your bedroom?

Spent the last week driving my middle daughter across country from MA -> CO. She really wanted to live in Colorado post college graduation like her dad & I did. So proud of her for making it happen! Fun to take this road trip with her before she starts her new life & job in Colorado!

While she’s starting over in a new state she doesn’t have to start over with all new stuff thanks to the vacuum storage bags & mini pump gifted from @nicetreehome ~ She could bring more of what she owned by shrinking it down in these vacuum seal bags. Definitely more cost effective than buying everything once she gets there! She is also planning to use these for storing her off season clothes and for road trip adventures with her friends.

Collecting supplies for a Valentine table later this week and remembered this cherub tea set my dad gave me that was my grandmother’s. Gathered everything together on her curio cabinet that I have since filled with heart rocks I find on my walks. Anyone else do this? At least 4 of her grandchildren do! Added rose colored glasses & an ice bucket, dried roses & a book that she wrote her name in circa 1905.
