Happy Back to School to you, however it is looking for you this year!! ✏️ 📚🗓️ As an empty nester & former teacher September always feels like the beginning of a new year to me. A fresh start after the busy summer months when we are barely home. Love getting the house back in order, putting away summer supplies, cleaning and refreshing rooms so they work for the season we are in, and adding fall scents to the mix. We have always loved Mrs. Meyer’s products and love that they are sold at Target so we can grab the newest scent while stocking up on back to school supplies. Tips from a former teacher & mom: 1. Set up a welcoming reentry into your home. 2. Have a place to drop shoes, coats & backpacks as your child comes home. Tip: add a scent diffuser near the shoe basket! 👟👟 This makes leaving for school easier too- everything is in the same spot! 2. Get fall coats washed & ready to go. Those cool mornings at the bus stop come faster than we think! 🧺 🚌 3. Have soap easily accessible for your kids so they can wash those back to school germs off as soon as they get home & before having a snack! 🍏🍪 4. Create a homework station with all the supplies they need to get their homework done. 5. Have a weekly calendar for your family with regularly recurring activities on it. That way your kids can learn to be responsible & get ready for their own activities. 6. Have a hamper in each child’s room. Don’t mix their laundry. That way you don’t have to go searching for that missing uniform or favorite shirt in the family laundry. It’s either in their hamper or the washer or dryer. mrsmeyerspartner september backtoschooltips mrsmeyersbacktoschool resetthehouse @mrsmeyerscleanday @Target LTKmomlife LTKHome LTKSeasonal
