Denim that will flatter - varying lengths and waist height

Being petite doesn’t always mean you have to shorten your pants—sometimes it just means you need the right shoes! 👖✨

Usually, my first move is to crop my denim, but the detail on this raw edge was too good to lose. Instead of cutting them, I’m leaning into the length. By pairing them with high-heel boots, I get all that leg-lengthening magic without sacrificing the best part of the jeans.

The Look:

The Base: A crisp blue button-down + that “too long” denim.

The Layer: Navy-on-navy with a knit sweater and structured coat.

The Contrast: Breaking up the blues with a rich brown belt and matching bag for that “Refined Classic” finish. 🤎

4 pairs of jeans

The first pair I ordered in my usual size 28 and they fit perfectly! They come in short, regular and long. I ordered regular and I will have to shorten them. I’m 5’4
This is a hip hugging jean that makes your legs look long!! I also love the high waistline!

The second pair is similar but in a dark blue. These are my most frequently worn pair of jeans right now. They’re slimming and can be worn casually or dressed up!

Their third pair was stylish but I think it was the lower waistline I didn’t love. I really loved the stitching detail in these ones though!

The last pair might be a little more suitable for summer but I adore the cute front pockets and the long cuff detail! Their regular price is also really reasonable!!

Just a couple easy casual Friday outfits for work that still look professional.

I like the navy blue button up with the dark wash denim for a monochromatic look.

The blue and white striped button up is a bit of a brighter look and makes me think of Martha Stewart for some reason!

I can’t get over how stunning these cotton denim jeans are! The double belt loops allow for the traditional cinched waist look or if the belt is moved down, a more modern and unique look can be achieved. Each movement draws the eye to the flocked surface texture.

The checkered herringbone blazer has a traditional feel while the slightly oversized look gives a casual feel. Did you notice the elbow patches? That’s my favorite feature on this blazer! I can only label this as impeccably designed and crafted.

Finally, a quilted jacket quite unlike any other. Every detail has been thought of and executed.
Made from water resistant cotton, it also offers wind resistance.
It can be worn as a more boxy look or the waist can be adjusted for a more fitted feel. I adore the corduroy detail in this jacket!
