Nothing makes me more happy than making my own laundry detergent. The first time I did it I was so proud specially, knowing what is in it. With my baby dealing with eczema I knew I had to start somewhere trying to get rid of toxic chemicals from our house. We started with our laundry detergent. And for softener we use white vinegar.

1 cup washing soda
1 cup borax
½ cup baking soda
½ cup Epsom salt
Optional: 1 bar of grated soap (castile soap)
35 drops of essential oil (my favorites are lavender, lemon, orange or eucalyptus)

And for strong stands we use Miss mouth’s Spray it works like a charm! It is also chemical free.

Summer essentials for baby outing

We bought this egg swing for Noah, and he absolutely loves it! At first, I was unsure of the shape of it. I thought he wasn’t going be comfortable in it, but he was so comfortable and even fell asleep. We hanged ours on our patio and every morning we made it our routine to go outside for a few minutes and he sits there and swings while I feed the animals. So it’s a win-win.

Amazing Amazon Find! Found this armrest organizer for my couch on Amazon for such a good deal! This has been very helpful since I sit on the couch and drawers for a while, and I can have my water nearby without worrying about it spilling or falling on my baby and have my phone nearby and the remote.
