When it’s December in south Louisiana, you go from cold weather clothes one day to cutoffs the next.

I’m in a medium in the graphic tee and a large in the denim cutoff shorts. I sized up to a large in them to pull them down a little on my hips for added length.

Today’s look is the Spanx Air Essentials-inspired look for less from Ellenwell on Amazon. I own both the look for less and the original Spanx dress and can tell you this is identical except for the sizing. I sized up one to a large in the Amazon version instead of the medium I wear in the one from Spanx. Everything else is exactly the same from the super soft material that makes Air Essentials so popular to the pockets and the little pleating in the back. The look for less is shorter which is why I sized up. This dress is one that you can wear almost year-round. You can dress it up with heels or down with sneakers and a ball cap.

I’m wearing it with my favorite black fleece-lined tights and Chelsea boots, my everyday gold bracelets and Apple Watch band, my new bracelet from Gorjana, new earrings from Nickel and Suede, and of course my Jennifer Ponson Designs.

Y’all know this is my favorite of all favorites as a go-to travel look. Total comfort but lots of style. Looks like a jumpsuit but is two pieces so there is no hassle of taking it all off when ya gotta go!

I sized up to a large in this one for an oversized and relaxed fit, but I also have it in my true size medium and it fits great, too.

Showing my favorite “blanket” dress from Walmart dressed down today with my Vintage Havana sneakers today for lunch with our good friends Easy to wear and super comfy. And it’s $30!

I’ve paired it with my Jennifer Ponson necklace and bracelet, my personalized bracelets from Etsy, and my everyday gold jewelry and headband from Amazon. I’m in a small, and it is supposed to be really oversized. Would be great for travel or a day of holiday fun!

I love how inexpensive yet well made and versatile both of these pieces are. The last time I wore this sweater I wore it tucked into a pleated miniskirt with a belt for a cute date night look. Today it’s untucked and super casual. The material feels like I’m wearing a Barefoot Dreams blanket! Y’all know these faux leather skinny pants from Shein are on repeat for me. I have them in 4 or 5 colors because at under $20, it just makes sense. I’m in a medium in both.

$Love Free People but not the price tag? I’ve got you! Amazon has another great look for less for the FP Hailee Sweater Skirt Set sweater at a fraction of the price of FP. Like more than 50% less! It is virtually identical to the one I showed in an earlier video. Same mock neck, same cropped top, same long column-type midi skirt, same relaxed fit, same material. Both come in 6 colors. This Free People look for less of the Hailee Sweater Skirt Set from Amazon is TOP NOTCH! The fit is very similar to the real deal and so is the material. The color is a little different, but this one won’t show dirt or stains as easily as the one from FP. This one doesn’t run as big as the FP one, so if you’re not into the really oversized fit, this would also be a good choice for you. This one comes in sizes S-XL, and I’m in a medium. Annnnnd here she is. The all-black look for less of the Free People Eleanor Sweatshirt Dress. I am in LOVE. I’ve got to say that this is, hands down, my favorite one of all the ones I have. So chic. Especially with fleece-lined black opaque tights and Chelsea boots. I just love a good monochromatic look. It’s so classy and looks so put together. The color and the Chelsea boots give it a bit of an edgier vibe than some of the other ones I own. I finished it off with all of my Jennifer Ponson jewelry and everyday gold jewelry from Amazon.

Today’s OOTD features my fave faux leather skinny pants from SHEIN that I’ve been wearing on repeat since I got them. These are the black and they cost…. wait for it… drum roll, please… $16.13 🤯. I paired them with the CashSoft mock neck pullover in soft pink from Gap, and my black cowboy boots from Amazon. I am absolutely in LOVE with this long puffer vest with a removable hood. The perfect addition to any winter outfit. I bought it with our upcoming Alaska trip in mind, but I wore it to school today because I couldn’t wait! It is so slimming and not too bulky, yet it is still super warm. It comes in XS-XXL and in 7 different color options. The lighting here makes the material look a bit shiny, but it isn’t shiny at all in real life.

Sweater is the CashSoft crewneck from Gap in a medium, pants are the high rise corduroy vintage slim pants in dark green (kind of an army green) in an 8 (I sized up for a relaxed fit, but they are definitely TTS) also from Gap, a fitted white button down from Amazon in a medium, and taupe suede platform ankle boots from Stockplace.

This is such a classy and chic outfit that works for the office as well as a date night. The bodysuit from Free People is unbelievably soft and so comfortable that I forget I’m wearing a bodysuit. As someone whose weight has significantly fluctuated the majority of my life, I get so excited when I find clothes that are size inclusive and this outfit fits that bill. The cropped sweater from Amazon’s The Drop Collection is available in XXS-5X and comes in 8 color options. I’m in a medium in the color Heather Mushroom. It’s meant to be a bit oversized and boxy.

The faux leather skinny pants from Shein have a lot of stretch and come in sizes XS-5X and 14 colors! I’m in a medium in black.

Under the cardigan I’m wearing a long-sleeved pretty fitted white ribbed tshirt and have paired it all with black cowboy boots. The tshirt comes in XS-XXL and 16 colors All from Amazon.

My jewelry is a mix of finer jewelry from Jennifer Ponson Designs (code Lauren10), Nickel and Suede earrings and super affordable Amazon pieces, as well. My headband is from Target.

This Sherpa maxi dress from Walmart is affordable, lightweight but still warm, has pockets and is giving me major Free People vibes at a Walmart price. 🙌🏻

It comes in 4 colors and sizes S-XXL. You definitely want to size down. Maybe even 2 sizes. I’m in a small in the color blue, and you can see just how oversized it is on me.

Is the Hailee Sweater Skirt set worth the hype? Yes, my friends. Yes it is.

It can be worn year round and easily be dressed up or down. I think it would be perfect to travel in. It’s a bit of a splurge at $108, but both the sweater and the skirt can be styled separately with so many other things, that I think it justifies the price. It comes in 6 colors and in sizes XS-XL. I am in the medium.
