I started putting together a list of my recent favorite things and realized there’s a pattern…

Most of them solve a problem.

The dress that makes getting ready easy.

At this point in life, I’m less interested in trends and more interested in finding things that make life easier, look polished, and earn a permanent spot in my closet.

Apparently y’all were in a very “make my life easier but still cute” mood this week 😂

The original Gucci mule is such a classic, timeless designer shoe… but when I found this Amazon version with the same elevated feel for under $80, I had to compare them. 👀

The silhouette, the horsebit detail, the overall look — it gives that polished, classic style without the luxury price tag. And considering the Gucci version is no longer available anyway… this one felt like a pretty good find.

I love pieces like this that make an outfit feel expensive without actually being expensive. Easy to wear with denim, dresses, trousers, all of it.

Somewhere in that mirror is the girl who wore cutoffs and a t-shirt almost every day in college. This is just the 55-year-old version of it. I still think denim cutoffs and an oversized button down are one of the best casual summer outfit formulas for Gen X women because it feels effortless, comfortable, and pulled together without trying too hard. Some things really do stay with you.

The accessories are what make the outfit 💚

Y’all know I’ve shared these multi-strand necklaces forever. I have them in almost every color because they completely change the look of even the simplest outfit… and every time they restock them, they sell out SO fast.

This time I grabbed a few new pieces too, and they are GOOD. The dresses, the colors, the details, the new jewelry… all of it just feels fun, polished, and easy to wear.

I’ve always been a simple clothes girl, but I love accessories that give an outfit personality. A great necklace and a fun bag… that’s what makes everything feel finished to me.

And hearing my mom and her friends talking the other day about how much they love this boutique made me laugh because apparently we all have the same taste 😂

Don’t tell Walmart… but I came in for a few things and ended up showing y’all another Amazon find in the middle of the dog food aisle 😂

This dress was just too good not to share. The color, the fit, the pockets… it feels way more expensive than it is and it’s so easy to throw on and go.

I’m in the medium, but I’d size up if you’re between sizes. And yes, it comes in 17 colors and sizes S-XXL.

Then I spotted those striped shorts at Walmart and had to grab those too because they were too cute to leave behind.
