We took our little client’s closet and made a few tweaks to make it more functional. First, we replaced the broken & missing knobs on the dresser for these pretty crystal ones. We then used the dresser to store school uniforms & pajamas.

Then, we added a purple storage cubes to match the rest of the room and used them to sort sports uniforms, karate belts, dress up clothes, and keepsakes items. We also added labels to give all the items a permanent home.

Tip: When organizing a closet, take every single item out first. Then wipe down the shelves and vacuum the floor. Next, sort through all your clothing and only keep items that are still working for you. Finally, use the same color and type of hangers for that uniformed look (in this case our client already had all these wonderful pink velvet hangers). 💜

$We loved working on our little client’s room! She wanted to stay with the lilac & sage green theme she already had going on, so we just updated her bedding to one that will grow with her through her teen years. The other items added to her room besides the bedding were: a bigger, glass base lamp, two extra large basket to hold her stuffies, artwork, jewelry box, and a bookshelf that would hold all of her favorite books. Did we mention she loves to read? 📚 Tip: Instead of spending a lot of money on a new artwork, buy a set of picture frames from @amazon, and print a digital artwork from @etsy. The last step in this fun project was to figure out a more functional bathroom storage and design, that could grow with our client’s daughter.

She wanted to bring the lilac color from her bedroom and closet into her adjacent bathroom as well, so we swapped her older shower curtain and shower rings for these pretty ones. We also switched the green rug and towels for white, soft ones to light up the dark tile. We then added a shower caddy to hold all the shampoo and body care products and we used the same storage system under her sink as we used in her sister’s bathroom.

Lastly, we added a cute tray with faux plant and jars, and a matching toothbrush and hand soap holders for the clean, polished, but still girly look.

These small and very affordable changes made the world of difference and our client was very happy with the outcome.

The perfect storage solution if you have curious pets. 😂🐶

We had to swap the textile & rattan cubes we usually favor for these plastic ones with lids. Let’s just say this client has a very sweet pup who likes to “play” with the kids’s toys.😅

Finding plastic cubes with lids to fit this 13x13” storage unit was not an easy task, but was worth the search. We then added labels to make it easy for the kids to find what they are looking for and to stay organized.

Do your kids love art? 🖼️

We decided to add a few of these 36” ledge shelves to display all the art in this boy’s room. The great thing about not hanging your kid’s art collection is, that it’s super easy to update the displayed collection regularly.
Also, the shelves are narrow enough to fit behind the door to save space.

Tip: For more polished look, place the art in frames.
