Today I am going to start setting up my pottery wheel. If you missed my stories over the weekend I have decided to start learning pottery. Mostly as a way to relieve stress, anxiety, and teach myself mindfulness and patience! Also, someone recently asked me what I do as a creative outlet just for myself for fun and my answer was, “umm… I work”. After that question was asked I had to sit with myself for a few weeks and wonder why I’m not truly doing something just for me. Anyway, so I landed on something I’ve been wanting to do for a really long time - pottery. I KNOW it’s going to be hard, but I am excited for the challenge and a new creative outlet.

All that being said, if you have any advice for a newbie like me, or anyone else looking to start their pottery journey, can you leave some advice? Thank you!!

My Mom has officially made her @emmer IG debut
