Date night fit-storytime!

We had approximately five hours to fit in a fun date night to celebrate being debt-free from our miracle baby’s medical
bills, and a small loan we took out to finish our Homestead many years ago!

We popped some tags at @dillards because Mama literally needs some new clothes. I mean I have got five shirts, no jeans and a handful dresses in my closet- that’s it!

Fast-forward to doing some speed shopping, but actually finding cute new pieces to add to my wardrobe and new body, and me getting dressed in the front seat of the minivan, trying to keep my body under the window so I’m not flashing everybody at the stoplight!

I wouldn’t have pair these shoes with this outfit, but it was all I had so I made them work!

It was really fun going out for dinner and for once, feeling like I fit the part of a hot mama out on town!

Mom‘s night out but make it productive!

Would you believe me if I said I came straight from the gym to my solo dinner last week?

It was the grown-up moment I never knew I needed!

Pushing around lots of iron followed up with a protein alongside a shot or two of tequila 😉

Yesterday’s church fit!

My kiddos said this dress looked cute on me at the thrift store 🫶🏾 the shoes I got on clearance at old navy last year.

TBH the aren’t very comfortable but they’re so CUTE!

The headscarf, I found at an estate sale two years ago!

This dress was a hand-me-down from my mom, she thought it’d be a great maternity to nursing dress, and she was right!

I have it paired with my also handed down Steve Madden Y2K sandals, and another mama find- a perfectly boho purse from Spain she gifted me a few years ago!

Technically, this whole outfit was *free* because it was all handed down or gifted!!

Shout out to my eight-year-old for the adorable photo!

Today’s church fit is inspired by the Holy Spirit. I legitimately stand in front of the closet and pray to the Holy Spirit reveal what I should wear to church to glorify my Lord, and this is what he picked out today! What do you think?
