My favorite ornaments on our Christmas tree - the ones with my grandparents on them❤️

It is such a beautiful way to make my kids know them, even though they never met. It gives an opportunity to talk about them, answer question, tell stories and jokes, that they used to tell me, when I was little.

I spent a lot of time with my grandparents, when I was a kid, and I want my kids to have same connection with their grandparents!

What connection my kids will have with my grandparents is all up to me, how I can keep them in their memories through pictures and stories and Christmas tree ornaments 🙌❤️🥹

I love when it smells good at home! I’m very sensitive to scents and very picky. I tried different diffusers and home scents. For me most importantly it should be non toxic and pure. So I made my research and my favorite essential oils are from Cliganic, Saje and NEOM.
My latest essential oil purchase was cedar wood from Cliganics and it’s so good! Really grounding as it’s said on the box:)
I love citrus, eucalyptus and flower not very strong scents. Linking all my favorite essential oils and diffusers 🙌❤️ perfect as a gift!

Our tree is new this year - first year we got an artificial one, and I’m so happy! It looks like real!
Ornaments were accumulated over the years and this year I got only those red and brown bows, they definitely added more style and beauty 😍
Most of my ornaments are soft, made out of felt or crochet, because kids 🤗
Among fragile ornaments my favorites are round ceramic ones with portraits of my grandparents! Great way to remember them and tell my kids about them, because unfortunately my kids didn’t get to meet them.
I’m also ordering every year ceramic ornaments with picture of our family from the current year. Love this tradition ❤️

Fabric shaver is a mast have if you have clothes and it gets pilling!

The one that I use is soo good in removing pilling and it does not cut fabric on raised seams, which was the case with my old fabric shaver 😱

This stain remover is the best I’ve tried!
It works great for rugs, furniture and all those oily stains on your kids clothes 🫣

I just spray on any and every stain, leave it for few minutes and then rub it off (for rugs and furniture) or load it into washer for a regular wash 🤗

That was my school project made out of kids drawings of Spring - watercolor mosaic art 🌸

But it’s actually a cool idea how to use multiple drawings of your kids (that are somewhere in folders in storage) and make something that would look like piece of art 🖼️

So how we did it:

We asked kids in class to draw with watercolor pencils and then use a bit of water to turn pencil drawings into watercolor ✨

After that I cut all drawings into pieces, arranged as mosaic, glued and cut them out in chosen shape.

Then I glued final shape on thick matboard and placed it in a beautiful floating frame 🖼️

My favorite Amazon finds for decor pillows - cover and insert are linked!
Make sure to get insert one size bigger than the cover to get fuller pillow look.
For example, if you have 24” by 24” cover, get 26” by 26” insert. Linked inserts are so full and fluffy and they feel like down pillows, but they are actually down alternative. And they are not getting flat like most down alternatives 🙌
And pillow covers are super high quality, soft and come in so many colors! They look so much better in real life 💚 I already got them in few different colors for different rooms 😁
