I love that the set came with clips, crimps and all the accessories you could need for this. I didn’t want anything bulky in my kids hair so I went with the slipknot method. It’s a bit tricky at first but I got the hang of it about three strands in. I think the salon fairy hair may be finer or better quality but I’m ok with that. I’m not looking for long term use and it comes with so many strands that the kids are already planning colors for every occasion!

Mermaid Sand Writing 🧜‍♀️

Trying to get a little alphabet and sight word practice before school starts. Thankfully my kids think this is fun!

I didn’t know you can dye sand (it was white craft sand) but I guess you can! I added some glitter and stones for a little under the sea sparkle.✨

By far the best find of the summer!

It’s a cauldron, it has sensors and sound effects, all of the accessories, it’s Ursula’s potion set! What more could potion loving kids ask for! I added a few droppers and fizzy wand brushes. It was the perfect activity for the kids to do while I finished packing for vacation. They must have played for two hours!

It’s Mermaid Week! 🧜‍♀️

We obviously have a favorite! This week is dedicated to my daughter making it through the summer with all of her big brother’s requests. We’ve been to the depth of the ocean, sailed with pirates and swam with some very scary sharks. So this week is going to be the girliest, under the sea, mermaid fest!

The kids loved this setup today. They did a little bit of counting and a lot of pretend play. We watch The Little Mermaid a lot so that’s easy.

I am loving the 5 minute story books so much. They’re perfect for me to read during my break.
