I may be a little biased when I say it’s the best island to visit because that’s where my family is from😂 but I have no doubt you’ll love it there. We booked our 2024 family reunion here & had a blast! I would rate it 4.5/5 (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨)

Dunn’s River Falls is one of Jamaica’s magnificent natural treasures!! 🇯🇲 MUST-DO‼️

We booked a Catamaran Cruise that included swimming, snorkeling, and panoramic views as we sailed to the infamous Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios, JA. Upon arrival, we were assigned a tour guide to climb up the 960ft waterfall. The climb was not too rigorous, but can be slippery! Along the way, we stopped for a waterfall “back massage”, took a dip in the fresh water pools, & slid down a natural water slide. After making our way back down, we boarded the catamaran again for a reggae party. What a BLAST!🎊💃🏽🍹

Don’t pass up on a luxury stay at Beaches Resort. It is a great all-inclusive hotel choice for families or groups. The girls and I had a blast. I would rate it 4/5 (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)

Highlights:
▪️Hotel aesthetic: Modern & Clean
▪️Location: Prime location near local amenities. 6mi from the airport - enjoy a complimentary round-trip shuttle
▪️Room: There are 4 Villages within the Resort with varying architecture & ambiance (Caribbean, Italian, French, & Key West). We booked the French Village Luxury Double [2 double beds; Tropical View]. Spacious, comfortable beds, clean full bathroom + 2nd vanity & sink, closet w/robes & safe, fully stocked refrigerator & microwave, dark mahogany furniture & large mirrors.
▪️Food: 18 Restaurants from Caribbean to Japanese cuisine, Coffee Shop, Food Trucks - so many food/snack options & food was delish!
▪️Drinks: Unlimited premium drinks! 14 bars, including swim-up pool bars.
▪️Pools: 10 outdoor pools lined with lounge chairs. Several towel stations nearby. 4 Whirlpools too!
▪️On-site Beach: Easy walk-out to Grace Beach Bay with lots of lounge chairs. Water floats available for free use and water sports can be booked at nearby Dive Shop. Book an adventure tour with a local expert walking around. Water was stunning!
▪️Entertainment: Live music, family entertainment, Nightclub & Bar (Karaoke!)
▪️On-site Gyms & Red Line Spa
▪️Kids Club, Pirates Island Waterpark, & Caribbean Adventure with Sesame Street for the kids
✨New Village coming soon!✨

Downfalls (minor):
▪️Service: Overall good but some locations were extremely slow
▪️Pool: Sometimes overwhelmed with kids - There should be an “adult only” pool option

Catamaran Cruise to Iguana Island🦎
📍TURKS & CAICOS

The captain said “I-guana be something you never i-guana forget” 😂 And he was right!

This excursion was amazing! We sailed across the crystal clear waters of Providenciales on a lively catamaran including drinks & snacks. The boat had a diving board & slide for water adventures - snorkeling available through the coral reefs. We experienced an up-close encounter with the endangered rock iguanas at Little Water Cay and some got to see live conch right out of the shell! Our tour ended with a cruise back as we watched the sun set. So beautiful. I highly recommend!

Holiday Travel Idea: Explore Old San Juan, Puerto Rico:

✨Catch a ride to Plaza Colon, where you first enter Old San Juan by vehicle

✨Stop by one of the most photographed streets - Calle Fortaleza! It’s popular bc it is the street leading up to Puerto Rico’s Governor Mansion “La Fortaleza”. It typically displays multicolored umbrellas but they are white today for Diabetes Awareness

✨Visit Parque de las Palomas, which is a park mostly loved by children who feed the pigeons. But you can also enjoy the breathtaking views overlooking the Bay of San Juan

✨Walk the cobblestone streets and view all the colorful buildings. We stopped at a cute lil stand-alone shop called Cafe 4 Estaciones for Empanadas & Flavored Iced Tea to-go

✨Snap a shot with the Puerto Rican wings at La Tita Colmando Cafetin - super cute! Don’t forget to tag them #latitacolmando

✨We searched & found the infamous Puerto Rican Flag Door - an old door & now rustic mural painted on an abandoned building makes this a unique spot for photos! One of my favorites!

✨Stop for a drink at La Factoria - a hip bar (connected to a few others) in Old San Juan. Make sure you check out the Latin nightlife here on Sunday nights!

✨Try some authentic Puerto Rican cuisine while in town! We had dinner at Deaverdura & the food was AMAZING (& so cheap so leave a large tip!) I had my favorite - Pernil, Habichuelas Guisadas y Arroz Blanco & Tostones

✨Head back to Plaza Colon. Don’t forget to take a few pics with the I♥️PR sign before catching a ride home!
