The painting is in full force! I talked to the guy at Home Depot and he told me to scrape off the paint and sand... which I did! Then, he told me the paint was peeling so badly because the person before me didn’t prime the wood. So, I’ve got my primer, my paint, my brushes and I’m ready to go! I don’t know about you, but since I’ve been home more I’ve been itching to start some projects!! Also, the front door hardware completely broke 🤷🏼‍♀️ You know what that means... Someone has to fix it.

One thing led to another just as it always does and now it’s a slightly bigger project than just changing the hardware. Since we were changing the hardware, why not give it a little update?

We decided on black hardware in a slightly more modern style. Then, when we got it in, we realized that it doesn’t cover the same spots on the door which means we need to re-paint!

For me, this was great!! We can paint a new color!! So we started brainstorming and looking at doors.

When I started really looking at the door, I also realized the trim paint was peeling off, so I thought we might as well refresh the whole thing!! All this to say, I cant wait to show you the finished project! I started peeling, sanding and priming yesterday. Hoping to paint the door today! http://liketk.it/2Sge0 #liketkit @liketoknow.it
