I also added a “CARDS” section where I add important or special letters from friends and family 🤍

What to keep:
• School photos
• Awards
• ONLY A FEW DRAWINGS (the hardest part but worth it)
• Cute/funny stuff
• Important projects
• Report cards
• Meaningful letters from teachers/friends/family

What did I forget?

I’m sure we’ll outgrow just one box over the years, but two boxes is still way more manageable than the multiple containers and bins that get dumped most adults from their parents decades later 🫠😵‍💫 I hope my kids appreciate this system for years to come!

Who saves gift bags? We do 🙋🏻‍♀️ when I pulled down my gift bag bucket for teacher appreciation, I realized this was out of control.

Can your stand mixer do this? found these stick on rollers on Amazon and my life has CHANGED. Every morning we have to push the coffee and (ridiculously heavy) espresso machines back and forth under our cabinets to use them. Hide cord clutter! This area was driving me crazy, the second I would tuck cords away the roomba would come by and pull them out 😵‍💫😵‍💫

1. Use gorilla glue tape to adhere your power strip sideways behind your nightstand to where you can plug things in without adding bulk. This semipermanent tape will not damage your cords and will NOT let you down.
2. Use the Velcro organizers to keep excess cords out of the way.
3. Stick the cord holders on the back to guide the cords up how and where you like them.
4. Snap on and adhere the cord covers to hide extension cord.

Almost everyone's answer to last week's poll was: PANTRY ORGANIZATION. So here's my absolute number 1 way to keep an organized pantry!

These locking clear containers hold a ton; most boxed foods fit with room to spare. Clear containers:
1) Let you see what you have,
2) More importantly, let you see *how much* you have - an easy way to know if you're running low on something, and
3) Keep your dried foods fresh for WAY longer than storing in the boxes/bags they come in.
I also keep the kid's prepackaged snacks out of the boxes and in these open clear bins. Stored at kids' eye level, they can see what options they have and help themselves when it comes to snack time.
