I finally tried the viral TFIT cover up pro concealer! Only one shade is a close enough match but I think having a complexion product over it helps even things out. The coverage is great and I feel that for those it matches, it would be a great experience. What do you think?

These concealers are 10/10:

1. 3-in-one: color corrector, concealer, and illuminator
2. I use these in place of a skin tint some days
3. They feel like skincare! The texture is unbelievable- I’ve never had a concealer with this light, almost watery texture that makes me feel like I’m wearing nothing on my skin. I guess that makes sense since it’s a serum concealer.
4. It works like a charm. I’ve noticed that I have peachy undertones, so I first conceal with a mild orangey peach (sunset) and then top off with daybreak. If I want my eye area to be brighter and less of a match to my skin tone, I would use glowy rays.

I would encourage you to try this out at least once. It is likely different from what you’re used to but you may fall in love with it like I have.

First of all, let’s stop this ridiculous narrative that people wear makeup just to receive external validation.

Secondly, makeup is an art. And I agree with the school of thought that says art should be seen. Therefore, if one’s makeup is complimented and receives attention, so what? Makeup artists spend a considerable amount of time learning and sharpening their skills and I believe their work should be seen and should get attention.

At the same time, let’s remember that people use makeup for different reasons and at the heart of it is an enjoyment of creating something beautiful or something that makes one feel more confident and in tune with themselves. There are days when I put on something lowkey: concealer, blush, and lipgloss just to stay home. I feel more put together and ready to tackle the day and I may end up seeing no one that day. I’m fed up of hearing this negativity attached to people who use and enjoy makeup.

To folks who make comments like this: please lighten up. Take in color. Take in design. Embrace something different or at least consider it. It’s ok to compliment someone’s makeup; it probably took time and they’d probably smile and say thank you.

It is rare for me to go out of my way to get an eyeshadow palette. I’m usually overwhelmed with all the color variations! However, this one drew my eyes immediately. It had just the right number of colors to be interesting without being too much. The depth and vibrancy of Type A caught my eyes, especially as I had been searching for a purple for under my eyes. All the shades are so pretty and vibrant and Melt Cosmetics chose the perfect shades for Earth Signs. Please note they have other Zodiac palettes !
