If you’re wanting to experiment with new fashion trends, it’s important to consider how those new pieces could be incorporated into your personal style so they are a compliment and not a distraction.

For example, in this outfit I have on a few current trends that resonate with my personal style such as mesh (flats and also the sheer top that I have layered over my staple crop tank that I love to wear). Baggy jeans are a practical and comfortable choice that I gravitate towards, and the barrel leg shape is a modern silhouette.

I always try to ground my outfits that are more “trend forward” with elements that speak to my core style approach such as a vintage accessories and casual basics that feel both modern and unisex.

Whatever your “core style” is, it’s a good check when trying a new trend to see if you can still convey that message in what you’re wearing.

I’m typically a EU37 (US6.5-7) and I got these in a 7. I have 2 other pairs in 6.5 but those are leather and start a bit snug and then stretch out so since these were the hair type and won’t stretch I got a 7 and really happy with the fit
