Bigger is better! You have to think about scale when you are buying ornaments. The bigger the tree, the bigger the ornaments you’ll need.

This tree before I added the micro lights was gorgeously decorated, but after I added the lights, you could tell just how gorgeous it was!

Want a taller tree? No problem. Simply put your tree on a table!

This is one of my favorite tips I have picked up from shopping Christmas stores. They do it so they have space to display and merchadise under the tree. I do it for the height. I also like to use the space under the tree and around the table for displaying more decor or presents.

Either way I get the look of a much taller tree without having to decorate the bottom of a large tree. That’s the part of tree that eats your ornaments.

So, I dothis all the time. Here I’ve taken my 6.5 foot tree and turnded it into a 9.5 foot tree just by setting it on a table.

If you are going to use focal points in your tree, like these owls, start by placing them in the tree first. Just use a little wire and attach them to your branches.

I loved using the large owl in the middle of the tree as my main focal point and then paiirs of smaller owls at other points in the tree. I even ended up building nests for all of my owl friends.

Shop the lights and decor I used to create this beautiful design featuring large and small owls, chocolate brown ornaments, and pinecone ribbon!

This tree was so gorgeous in person, rom the large owl in his nest to the small owl and nest at the top on the branch.

I loved the pop the chocolate balls gave against the flock. The organic ribbon technique I used to frame the owl is amazing!

I really stretched my creativity on this tree. It was just so fun to create!

After giving this tree a flocking refresh, of course, I lit her up with my favorite warm white snake lights. I used 5 strands of snake lights on this 10 foot full bodied tree to create this look.

Christmas ambiance always starts with the lights on the tree.

Here I created the perfect ambiance in my living room. First, I lit my 10 foot tree with 5 strands of snake lights. Then I added more snake lights to my mantel garland.

With my tree and mantel lit, I then added my Flameless candles and turned on the fireplace. This room was filled with Christmas joy.

I loved sitting in here by the fireplace with my hot cocoa enjoying my lights.

The new 2024 snake lights are also connectable and yes, they twinkle!

If you want to get crative with your decorating this year, here’s what you need - wire! That’a how you attach almost everything to your tree, especially large items that aren’t ornaments or decor.

I use paddle wire all the time. I love to attach large items in my tree designs. I’ve attached baskets, deer, owls, ribbon. I also use it to attach ornaments.

When Halloween is over, don’t put away your costume masks just yet! Use them to make a great kid’s room Christmas tree.

Here I used my son’s Star Wars Halloween masks from when he was Darth Vader, a Storm Trooper, and Chewbacca.

He loved this tree.

Tips for using large wreaths in doors:
1. Cover the metal part on the back of the wreath with felt.
2. Create a picture frame wire across the top and cover it in fliral tape.
3. Fluff your wreath before hanging.
4. Hld your breath and cross ypur fingers that the hook you slready have on the wall is the perfect height for your wreath.
5. Add a 50 foot strand of cluster lights.

Santa’s workshop was one of my all time favorite trees. I put Santa in the top. Then, I added my wooden toy collection that Elves obviously made. I also put loads of ribbon in this tree with a large looping technique that was so easy!

Before I decorated this tree, I started with my favorite snake lights, of course. I have used these lights for years and I know they will last for many Christmas’ to come.

I do if the tree calls for it. Some trees don’t need it.

I love a full topper on this tree because the top of the tree isn’t close to the ceiling at all. By adding this full topper, I’ve made my tree taller. I’ve gone from 10 feet to 12 feet.

On this tree, I used a lot of stems on the topper. I also put more in the body of the tree. Most of the time, I think that really ties the tree together and I like that look.
