You can help keep your lights tangle free by unwinding or unfastening them before you start putting them on your tree or mantel. Just unwind the lights and let them hang out on the floor, they will be fine even if you step on them. They are super sturdy!

SNAKE LIGHTS - My snake lights are longer than my cluster lights. The snake lights I use are on a strand that is 73.8 feet long. This means they are long enough to go from the top of a tree to the bottom of a tree or all the way around my windmill. I also use them in long garlands. They have 1,000 LED lights per strand.

CLUSTER LIGHTS - These lights are more compact. They are shorter and have more lights per strand. These strands of lights are 49.5 feet long and have 1,500 lights. They are great for using down the trunk of tall trees or they can be used by themselves to drench a tree in light! They can also be great in garlands because they are connectable.

You can combine the two types of lights to light up a whole room. You could even put a cluster light in the middle of your tree and add snake lights all around it. Get creative!

If you want your tree it to shine through your decorations, you should add lights to your tree even if it is a pre-lit tree. I never decorate a tree without adding lights, even pre-lit trees. It makes a huge difference!

These snake lights are 73.8 feet long and have 1,000 warm white LED lights. If you are looking for lights that are a little more affordable than the cluster lights, check these out! It’s the exact same lights as the cluster strand.

They are the perfect length to run from the top to the bottom of a medium to tall tree. Just plug them in at the base of the tree to a power strip. No need to connect them together.
