Created a DIY ball pit for my son’s 4th birthday!

This DIY ball pit was one of the easier and quicker DIYs I’ve done. Build a simple box, cover with foam, batting and fabric.

And he thinks “it’s cool!” which is all I needed to hear ☺️

Adding all the foam was like a life sized Tetris puzzle! And the spray adhesive mostly worked, but when I came back two days later to do the fabric, it was only stuck in a few places, think there was just too much pull since it was one piece I had bent over the sides.

Up next, adding the batting and fabric to finish the frame!

I finished with an hour to spare 😂 so happy the original fabric showed up on time, it said it wasn’t gonna come in for another week or two.

Trickiest part of this was trying to hold the fabric in place to staple, but I made it work! Also putting it in a corner was clutch, because I only needed two outside edges to look nice
