From soup to what might have actually driven me nuts... she’s finished y’all! 😆 What started out as a 7-10 day project, just wrapped its fourth and final month! 🎉 We battled surprise rotten flooring, an ice storm, frozen pipes and so much more along the way, but I think she turned out pretty darn great considering we had no idea what we’re doing. However, there’s a few words and phrases I ask you to never say near me again: “DIY”, “polished brass escutcheon” and “we don’t need an interior designer!”

Still over here watching cleaning videos! The horse hair brushes unfortunately doesn’t work with my Dyson. I was intrigued enough to try this vacuum out since it’s so small and lightweight! Ben said I better take a photo now because it won’t be long until there’s a peanut butter handprint right in the middle of this headboard. 😂 Our master has been last on our list of priorities, but our headboard is here, nightstands are on the way, I’ll make a decision on a rug here soon, and we’ll start remodeling our en suite when the girls’ bathroom gets done. I tried on all of these Amazon leggings and sets so you don’t have to! I have been promised nothing short of raising my credit score if I purchased some of these life changing athletic (or in my case leisure) wear pieces. I have found that some of these promises, in the words of Mary Poppins are, “pie crust promises; easily made, easily broken.” I wanted compression, comfort, a high waist, and an edge that doesn’t roll down completely negating the high waist.

Rankings:

1. CRZ Yoga - more compression than my aligns and do not roll down. They are super comfortable and I keep repurchasing them.
2. Colorfulkoala - feel closest to the align material, but won 2nd place because they rolled down so much on me. This is an important factor to me because someone somewhere has decided that all shirts must be cropped. I can’t risk an accidental exposure of my stomach when I’m not expecting it and I will have lots of questions for whoever started this trend I meet them. Number 1: How dare you?
3. Yogalicious - run small so size up, roll down, but super comfortable. I wore these a lot while pregnant.
4. JetJoy sets: only 👏🏻 buy 👏🏻 black 👏🏻 I love the material and found them super comfortable. They rolled a tiny bit, but over all liked the set. However, I purchased a purple set as well. These showed every cellulite dimple, and I know we’re all beautiful and cellulite is normal blah blah blah... but I don’t need to have a glowing purple arrow highlighting it.
5. A/N: (these are the blue ones) nope, nope, nope, never not once will I ever recommend these. I won’t even link them and removed them from a post where I said I was eyeing them. They are completely see through. Like baaaaad. The material felt fine so you could maybe pull off black, but unless you’re wearing a sweater down to your knees stay away!

Miscellaneous:

Favorite bike shorts: Leggings depot. This is strictly for lounging. I wouldn’t wear them to work out in. Baleaf ones gave me sausage legs.
