Baby gates!
At the bottom of the stairs we used a retractable punchless gate between two painted wood casings (to avoid damaging walls). At the top of the stairs we went for a more traditional gate for peace of mind. The flat bottom option is only good for up to 31” so we sized up as our opening is 36”.

Quick touch 🆙 on our interior doors which are painted black. So nice to be able to pull out a paint pen filled with Benjamin Moore Midnight Dream paint fully loaded and ready to go.

Closet system for minis! We ordered a custom sized brass and lucite bar from Etsy and installed inside white adjustable shelf bookcase from Amazon.

Part ready! Water carafe, double wine bucket, pitchers for lemonade and iced tea (or both), and baskets for back-stock below.

Woven area rug with fluted pots for herbs. A wood console for storing beach toys, towels, and a carafe of water. Battery powered lamps for reading at night alfresco.

Instead of having a custom cushion made, we ordered a piece of custom cut foam from Amazon and an ivory sofa slip cover that looks like a fitted sheet. Cost effective and creates a daybed with cozy pillows. Easy to throw in wash!

Transformed this pair of serpentine dressers found at a consignment store into nightstands for our primary suite.

By stripping the yellow paint we revealed beautiful wood grain with walnut inlay and stained a dark walnut.
