Barbie the Movie, Dolls & Cars… Wave 1 ✨💖👠 So you know there’s a Barbie movie coming out in a few weeks… but did you know that Mattel made dolls to look like the specific actors in the movie, along with the movie outfits (and several versions of the movie car too)? Pretty cool, right!?! And! Word is that there’s a second wave (with rollerblading Barbie & Ken!) coming soon! 💖 Linked as much as I could, here’s what you need to know: 💖 there are a $25 Barbie and $25 Ken in their original movie outfits (pink gingham dress and surf shorts) 💖 the rest of the dolls (3 more of Barbie, 1 more of Ken and 3 additional characters) all started at $50… some sold out (the western, cowgirl Barbie almost immediately) so you can still buy them but they’ve been marked up accordingly (people reselling) 💖 the cute pink corvette!: comes in regular Barbie size (was $75, sold out and now available much higher), a RC option (smaller scale than other, currently still available for original price under $60) and a Hot Wheels version (I have only found marked up as linked here and at one toy seller I’ve never used, if I find that order to be a success I’ll share!)
