Some dollar store bins and throw in some fidgets. I like to rotate the bins and I usually only offer them when I know regulation is needed or to prevent full blown dis-regulation. Slider door safety lock we used at Kalahari to secure the door to the balcony. Great for childproofing in general but I specifically use this lock to prevent elopement or curiosity [autism]. • Place this over one slim piece of the slider track and tighten down the screw that’s attached. I needed something that could fit all my children of different ages as well as my child with autism. Stamina is sometimes a struggle so we needed something able to give rest + it also doubles as a calming spot. There is a roof and sun shades that completely close in creating a safe dark calming spot. A necessity for neurodivergent families to help with overstimulation and meltdowns on the go. I don’t splurge + am the type to buy the bag of chicken for $7.89 vs $7.94.
