Yes we’re all trying to be minimalists and shop local and avoid buying for Black Friday when we shouldn’t, BUT if I were buying big ticket items for my home, this is the time I would buy them. I actually keep a list of things in my phone that I want to buy when those sales hit because 30% off makes a BIG difference (a.k.a it’s basically free). Here are the top things I’d be buying right now while they’re on sale: 1. Kitchen plumbing fixtures, sinks, runners and hardware. Hardware is a sneaky one that adds up at the end of the renovation. If you plan for it ahead of time you won’t be surprised and can get exactly what you want. 2. Sofas and sectionals $$$. These are one of the most-used pieces in the home so investing in something that will wear well and last for your family makes complete sense. You can literally save thousands if you buy while they’re on sale. 3. Bathroom vanities. Off the shelf vanities can work really well in spaces that don’t require custom measurements. 4. Beds and mattresses. I can’t tell you how obsessed I am with my Saatva mattress. I use them in every project now because I sleep like a baby. Bought mine last Black Friday and saved over $600! Also the Tilly bed frame from Wayfair is always a go to. 5. Storage! I bought my Urban Ourfitters Mason cabinet years ago during a sale and I love it so much. It’s the baby sister to the Anthropologie Fern cabinet which is another go to. It’s polished and holds all the things for hosting in one chic place. Happy Thanksgiving!
