A curved hood was at the top of my design must-have list. It’s a classic, timeless look with a touch of modern flair—just how we like things around here. I toyed with the idea of plastering the hood ($$$) and even bought a plaster paint that I thought I would DIY (fail!), but in the end our cabinet maker built it for us an sprayed it in cabinet grade paint. I wanted the hood to feel special, like she is, so I went with contrasting Simply White to set it apart from the Pale Oak cabinets. In the end, I absolutely love the smooth cabinet finish and think it will stand the test of time even more than plaster would have. Sometimes the flexibility in our design plans end up being some of the best choices we make. ✨ Shop my kitchen and follow along at @pennyandpearldesign for more interior design and home style🤍 LTKhome LTKsalealert LTKstyletip
