I promised my husband I was making the right choice when I left my full-time job 3 years ago and [between us girls] I was only 40% sure that I was. I can confidently say now that it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I pinch myself every day that I get to create beautiful spaces for the most amazing clients and their families. I’m talking some of the best, most genuine, down-to-earth, trusting people I’ve ever met. As a mom who cares about my environment deeply, I understand the desire to have beautiful surroundings and also let your kids be kids. (If we’re being honest it’s always the adults who spill red wine on your nice things anyway.) That’s what sets us apart at @pennyandpearldesign — we believe that everyone deserves to feel their best at home no matter the stage of life you’re in.
