Wide leg jeans are still going strong for 2025!
After Christmas Sales are in full swing my girlies! This Barn Jacket and satin skirt both on sale right now! The best time to pick up winter bits and bops !
Speaking of trends! I’ve had women tell me, I don’t bother with trends. I’m too old to care! Or one of my favorites: After 50 you shouldn’t care about staying on trend. Well! I disagree! I’m not saying you need to be a slave to the trends or have labels head to toe, no not at all! I think as women of a certain age if we don’t stay aware of what’s in or keep in mind those timeless classic pieces, we can easily over time become dull or stale even frumpy!
When I’m working with women recovering from cancer, one of their main struggles is to regain their sense of self. After a very long ongoing battle with breast cancer myself, I know all too well how this feels. My best lived advice to these precious women and to all women experiencing life changes, is to :

1. Let go of what was. Maybe it’s how your body used to look or a style that you used to rock.
2. Look at the changes life has brought as an opportunity to re-create yourself. This is your time to shine babe!
3. Love who and what your body has gone through. Whether it be cancer or hormone therapy and inevitably, menopause!
4. Look and be open to change and enjoy the new possibilities!
