I remember early on buying Yara and falling in love but our time together just isn’t the same anymore. I have so many beloved fragrances by Lattafa now in my collection. For starters Angham, Honor and Glory, Liam, and Khamrah Dukham to name a few off the top of my head.

It just shows me how my nose has changed and I am happy to keep exploring what I love. I do love Burberry Her she’s sweet, youthful, feminine, and iconic. One of the few strawberry scents I can tolerate. I have a love hate relationship with strawberry and banana fragrances.

I’m learning and my collection is changing and growing. I hope you see this as simple change in taste but I’m grateful for the journey.

I bought guilty as fig before I got a sample with father figure in it (which is now returned) and they don’t smell anything alike to me.

Fig in fragrance to me is like woody slightly fruity

Who is the best? Vanille Planifolia, but we need to see how these fragrances actually compare with the mediums of skin, clothes, and a tester.

$Welcome back to a #miniseries that may be a mini series, not sure if it will stay a mini series, but this is this or that where I try the inspired by DUA Brand fragrances next to what they were inspired after. This is not to encourage you to pick one over the other but my personal opinion and recommend you smell both. Soie Malaquais is a gorgeous fragrance that is floral woody and nutty. It sounds weird and kinda weirded me out when I couldn’t fathom this pretty bottle would smell like nuts but it’s actually so pretty. It’s now inspired two gorgeous inspired by Muva by BSB & Silk of Paris. I think for the long term of my budget and I know realistically I care more about the juice than the bottle I’ll stick to silk of Paris right now. It’s so identical and a fraction of the price. The DUA brand really came out swinging with this one 👑. 🔗By the way if you want the Dries Van Noten discovery set it’s on my LTK page which is in my bio. One day I’ll order Muva amongst a bunch of other oils I need but this was a great buy as were all of my DUA brand purchases.
