Hospital Bag! What’s in my postpartum room hospital bag!

The hospital provides all the “take care down there” products but I am bringing my own “diapers” because I have heard the mesh ones the hospital provides don’t stay up very well.

Don’t forget to pack lots of snacks, long phone charger, toiletries, bath towel, and a pillow!

What I packed for my unmedicated hospital birth!
1. Sports Bra (with a back strap to quickly take off once baby is born for skin to skin) to wear during labor while in and out of the tub/shower.
2. Robe for immediately after before heading to Postpartum room.
3. Diffuser and Speak to set the mood/atmosphere to keep my mind focused on the goal.
4. Bath towels for myself and hubby because the hospital towels are tiny.
5. Electrolytes!
6. Birth comb and earbuds to use as a distraction.
DONT FORGET SNACKS!!

My 2nd and now 3rd trimester favorites/must haves!
The below the belly undies are SO comfy especially at night! I sized up from my usual in the Under Armour thongs, so soft and stretchy. Getting all my fluids with my new 64oz Stanley…will be great for pp and breastfeeding! It’s been hard to meet my protein intake so I am supplementing with this shake to make sure I meet my daily requirement.

Supplements I’m taking during pregnancy! 1. Prenatal with Folate 2. Vitamin C which helps strengthen the amniotic sac and prevent pre-rupture of membranes 3. Probiotic for gut health 4. Protein which is essential to brain development (and to make sure I’m getting enough grams per day) and 5. Omega- 3s (because I do not eat seafood)
