I make homemade elderberry syrup every cold and flu season. We take it when the crud is going around (as prevention) and at the first sign of illness. Here’s what you need:

Ingredients
2/3 cup dried elderberries
3 1/2 cups of water
2 Tbsp fresh or dried ginger root powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp whole cloves or clove powder
1 cup raw honey
